After completing your studies, you may be eligible for the Graduate Visa, which will allow you to remain in Australia with full work rights. Enrol in a Course

Undertake Job Ready Program
During your Graduate Visa you must undertake the Job Ready Program through the TRA (Trades Recognition Australia). This requires 12 months of paid work experience which can help you obtain a positive full skills assessment that you can use for migration purposes.
Apply for Graduate Visa
After graduation and completing your Training Package, you may be eligible to apply for the 485 Graduate Visa. This is a temporary work visa that allows you to live and work in Australia for at least 18 months after your graduation.
Validate Skills and Apply for PR
Finally, after you receive a positive skills assessment, you may be eligible to apply for permanent work visas such as General Skilled Migration (Subclass 189 or 190), or 491. This will also make you eligible for employer sponsorship, as you would have satisfied the work experience criteria for a Temporary Short Skilled Subclass 482 Visa.

Job Ready Program
The Job Ready Program (JRP) is a four-step employment-based skills assessment program. It is designed to allow international students who completed a trade qualification in Australia, the possibility to achieve a skills assessment that they can use for migration purposes.
The Graduate Visa
The Graduate Visa is a work visa for international students who have completed university and certain vocational courses in Australia. It can last between 18 months and 4 years, depending on your unique situation. It helps you remain in Australia beyond your studies and pursue permanent residency (through General Skilled Migration or employer sponsorship). It is not points tested and nor does it require an employer to sponsor you!
Immigration Points Test
To apply for general skilled migration visas, you must first pass a skills assessment and points test. The points test measures how desirable you are to the Australian Government by measuring such things as your age, education, work experience and English ability.
