By studying the correct Bachelor degree or Masters, you could greatly increase your prospects of obtaining a work visa in Australia.

Four stages in this pathway

Enrol in a Course

Speak to Questra Immigration about your goals, and allow us to guide you towards a Qualification & Training Package that trains you for a position that is on the Medium and Long Term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL).

Validate Your Skills

You must undertake and pass a skills assessment with the relevant assessing authority. Provided you have completed an accredited course, you will most likely obtain a positive full skills assessment based on your education.

Apply for Graduate Visa

After graduation and completing your Training Package, you may be eligible to apply for the 485 Graduate Visa. This is a temporary work visa that allows you to live and work in Australia for at least 2 after your graduation.

Apply for PR

Finally, after you receive a positive skills assessment, you may be eligible to apply for permanent work visas such as General Skilled Migration (Subclass 189 or 190), or 491. This will also make you eligible for employer sponsorship, as you would have satisfied the work experience criteria for a Temporary Short Skilled Subclass 482 Visa.

Right Course, Right Path

We’ll guide you through the student process, helping you to choose an accredited university course.

Advantages Of an accredited course?

An accredited course is a course that a skills assessment authority has already evaluated, deeming the course content and structure at the levels required to pass a skills assessment. Other documentation relating to work experience or previous education is generally not required to be submitted. This allows for a smooth and simple process for your skills assessment.

If you study an non-accredited course, it is most likely that the course on its own merits will not meet the requirements to pass the skills assessment. It is almost certain that you will need to supplement additional evidences regarding your education and work experience.

Superior migration expertise at your side.

Do you want to extend your stay in Australia? Choose an accredited university course that trains you for a position on the Medium and Long-Term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL).
